Hi, I'm Kinnari Acharya, and this is my beloved companion Minchulli! Welcome to Mincholé—a name that beautifully combines "Minchu" (my baby) and "Olé" (paper in Kannada), representing the two things closest to my heart.

Our Story

I've always been an artist and a natural archivist, journalling long before I knew what it was called. I collected receipts, photos, class notes—anything that captured moments—and even made my own notebooks to keep these treasures safe. When I resumed creating my own notebooks in 2020, friends and family constantly asked me to make something for them. I'd generously give away the bookmarks I made, watching how these small pieces of functional art brought joy to others.

After years of dreaming, I took the leap in 2024. On July 14th—Minchulli's 10th birthday—I quit my full-time job and officially launched Mincholé. It felt like the perfect way to honour both my creative journey and my faithful companion who's been by my side through every artistic adventure.

Our Philosophy

We believe that everyday tools should spark joy and inspire creativity. Every item in our collection is completely handmade—from painting the covers to stitching the bindings and crafting the notepads. We started small, selling to family and friends, then grew through Instagram, building a community of people who appreciate the beauty of functional art.
